Life for me, started with post graduation in English literature from Rajasthan University!

Lecturer ship beckoned, as an obvious choice. However, not really content with teaching Macbeth for the rest of my life, I had a not-so-serious dig at the civil services, clearing the prelims and the mains at the first hurdle itself. Not very prepared, and not very serious, I almost walked out of the interview.

That was not all. Very fond of sher-o-shayri, the poet in me took me to Bollywood, harbouring hopes of becoming a lyricist. Having had an audience with most of the famous music directors of those times, I was treated with disbelief. The so-called sensitive music makers assumed that somebody of my tender age wasn’t capable of such deep thinking.

That brought me to have a fling with the advertising industry, where I slowly found my feet. And today having spent almost 21 years with DRAFTFCB Ulka starting as a copywriter specialising in Hindi, I have been associated with many a campaign, on almost all accounts that the company has had.  LML, Dabur, Whirlpool, Pulse Polio,  Hindustan Motors, Usha Sewing Machines and Fans,  Relaxo Footwear, Mother Dairy, HCL and Hero Honda to name a few.
